Arizona Wildcats guard Dylan Smith (3) passes the ball during a game against the Colorado Buffaloes at the McKale Center, on Jan. 18. 2020.

The Arizona Wildcats jumped back in the AP Top 25 Poll at No. 22 following their wins over Utah and Colorado last weekend.

The Wildcats were dropped from the poll last week, after being swept in Oregon, the only time this season they have not appeared.

Oregon dropped to No. 12 after losing at WSU, while Colorado is now 23.

Baylor jumped Gonzaga into the No. 1 spot after the Bears beat Iowa State at home and Oklahoma State on the road. Gonzaga beat Santa Clara and BYU at home.

FWIW I had moved Baylor ahead of Gonzaga last week and haven't ranked Arizona since it lost to St. John's last month but put the Wildcats back in this week.

Here's the ballot I submitted to the AP this week:

1 Baylor

2 Gonzaga

3 Kansas

4 San Diego State

5 Louisville

6 Duke

7 Villanova

8 Oregon

9 Florida State

10 Kentucky

11 Maryland

12 Michigan State

13 Dayton

14 Auburn

15 West Virginia

16 Butler

17 Seton Hall

18 Memphis

19 Wichita State

20 Iowa

21 Texas Tech

22 Arizona

23 Illinois

24 Rutgers

25 Colorado

The Wildcats are still even higher in the computer rankings: They are 11 in the NET, 14 in Kenpom and 17 in Sagarin.

Arizona nominated Zeke Nnaji for both the Pac-12 player and freshman of the week awards, after he averaged 18 points and 10 rebounds in the Wildcats' wins over Utah and Colorado.

However, he'll have stiff competition for the Player of the Week award after WSU's C.J. Elleby averaged 23.5 points, 11.5 rebounds and 4.0 assists in the Cougars' surprising sweep of the Oregon schools.
