Arizona's Pelle Larsson (3) high-fives Kylan Boswell after the triple-overtime win at Utah on Thursday. β€œPelle is a problem solver and he's a winner," said UA coach Tommy Lloyd. "We're lucky to have him."

Arizona's Pelle Larsson was named Pac-12 Player of the Week after leading the Wildcats to a sweep at Utah and Colorado over the weekend.

The senior from Swedene averaged 22.5 points, 5.5 rebounds and 5.0 assists in the two games while shooting 60.7% from the field and 44.4% from 3-point range.

It's the first weekly Pac-12 award for Larsson in his four-year career (he spent his first season at Utah) and the fourth a Wildcat player has been given this season.

Guard Kylan Boswell won after UA’s win at Duke in November, Oumar Ballo won after dominating inside in UA’s games against Alabama and Florida Atlantic in late December and guard Caleb Love won after leading UA to home wins over Colorado and Utah in early January.

Among other nominees, Larsson beat out WSU's Jaylen Wells, who also led his team to a road sweep. Wells averaged 18.5 points and 5.5 rebounds while making 10 of 12 3-point shots over the Cougars' wins at Oregon State and Oregon.

Arizona has nominated Larsson twice earlier this season, after Larsson scored 21 points in UA's Dec. 9 win over Wisconsin and after he led UA to a home sweep of USC and UCLA last month but he didn't win either award.

The Wildcats did not nominate a Freshman of the Week candidate. Guard KJ Lewis fouled out after eight minutes at Colorado and Motiejus Krivas was scoreless at Utah.
