The Arizona Wildcats hosted four-star junior college defensive end Jermaine Johnson for an unofficial visit on Tuesday. Johnson posted photos on his Twitter from his visit at Arizona Stadium.Β

UA offered Johnson in early May, and is one of the highest ranked JuCo recruits for the 2019 class. Per 247Sports composite rankings, Johnson is ranked as the No. 2 defensive end, fourth overall among JuCo recruits.Β
The 6-foot-6, 240-pound Johnson is originally from Eden Prairie, Minnesota, but has played in Independence, Kansas (Independence C.C.) since last season. In his first season at the JuCo level, he recorded 27 tackles and 8 sacks, with five of them from one game.Β Β
Johnson also holds offers from Georgia, Minnesota, Nebraska, Oregon, Texas, UCLA and USC.Β Β
