Shun Brown, the Arizona Wildcats’ leading receiver and top punt returner, has a foot injury but is probable to play against Oregon State on Saturday night.

Brown apparently suffered the injury at some point during last week’s game at USC. He left the locker room with a boot on his right foot and was still wearing one during practice Wednesday. But the issue apparently isn’t serious given the “probable” designation on Thursday’s official team injury report.

Brown, a junior, has 32 catches for 435 yards and five touchdowns. He also has returned two punts for TDs.

It’ll be interesting to see if the coaching staff reduces Brown’s workload by rotating more at receiver or taking him off punt-return duty. Tony Ellison, who’s tied with Brown for the team lead in receiving yards, likely would pick up the slack.

Defensive tackle Kurtis Brown is listed as questionable because of a concussion. Brown sat out last week’s game. He is the fifth member of a five-man rotation at defensive tackle.

Freshman defensive end JB Brown will not play against the Beavers because of an ankle injury. Brown got hurt early in the USC game. He recently had moved ahead of Larry Tharpe Jr. as the No. 2 defensive end behind Justin Belknap. Tharpe has been a regular member of the rotation for most of the season.

No longer appearing on the injury report: freshman free safety Scottie Young Jr. Young came off the bench last week after missing the previous two-plus games. He had been listed as questionable because of a knee injury.
