Arizona staff analyst Miguel Reveles spits during a UA football practice on Friday, Aug. 5, 2016 in the Frank Sancet Field.

Arizona coach Rich Rodriguez has yet to hire a special teams coach to replace Charlie Ragle, nor a receivers coach to replace Tony Dews, who left for West Virginia.

Miguel Reveles won't be replacing either of them.

Reveles instead will join Ragle in California as a special teams quality control assistant.

Reveles was believed to be a candidate for the special teams opening on Arizona's staff, but. He joined Arizona's staff in 2013 as a staff analyst, assisting in day-to-day program management with a focus on the running backs and special teams. Last year, his job title changed to "director of junior college relations."

Reveles' ties to Southern California have helped the Wildcats out in recruiting, particularly in the recruitment of running back Nathan Tilford, a four-star signee in Arizona's 2017 class and the UA's highest-rated incoming recruit. Prior to joining Arizona, Reveles spent time on the staff at Colony High School in Ontario, California, where he coached ex-Wildcat Samajie Grant.

Thursday, offensive graduate assistant Kylan Butler was hired as running backs coach at Glenville State. Arizona is expected to add former UA receiver Terrence Miller as a graduate assistant at some point.
