University of Arizona vs Hawai'i

Anu Solomon thanked the program, coach Rich Rodriguez, athletic director Greg Byrne and “the diehard” fans at Arizona. “I will never forget those who supported me, stuck by me and believed in me,” Solomon said in an Instagram post.

It’s the smallest Arizona Wildcats injury report of the season – but it has one big name on it.

Quarterback Anu Solomon is questionable for Friday night’s game against Arizona State because of a foot injury.

Solomon started last week against Oregon State but had to leave the game in the second quarter because of what was termed a toe injury. He watched the second half in sweats with a walking boot on his left foot. It was Solomon’s first start since the Sept. 3 opener.

If Solomon can’t play, the quarterback duties will fall to redshirt sophomore Brandon Dawkins. Dawkins has eight starts this season and leads Arizona in both passing and rushing. He played the majority of last year's Territorial Cup, which Solomon missed because of a concussion.

There’s good news and bad news on the offensive line. Right tackle Gerhard de Beer is out because of a knee injury. But right guard Jacob Alsadek is not listed on the report, suggesting that he’ll be able to play. Alsadek sat out last week because of an ankle injury.

Also absent from the injury report: “Will” linebacker Paul Magloire Jr. Magloire did not play against OSU because of a groin injury. The redshirt senior is the Wildcats’ second-leading tackler.
