So much for that reduction in late start times.

The Pac-12 on Wednesday released kickoff times and TV assignments for the first three weeks of the upcoming football season and a handful of other games. All four Arizona games announced Wednesday will start at 7:30 p.m. or later.

Here’s the breakdown (all times MST):

  • Sept. 3: vs. BYU (at Glendale), 7:30 p.m., Fox Sports 1
  • Sept. 10: vs. Grambling State, 7:45 p.m., Pac-12 Networks
  • Sept. 17: vs. Hawaii, 7:45 p.m., Pac-12 Networks
  • Nov. 25: vs. Arizona State, 7:30 p.m., ESPN

Last week the Pac-12 announced it would have as many as four fewer 7-or-later kickoff times per season. But the Grambling and Hawaii games always were destined for late kickoffs because of September weather conditions in Arizona. The league’s TV partners chose late time slots for the BYU and ASU games. (The latter takes place on the Friday after Thanksgiving.)

Additional start times and TV assignments will be announced during the season.
