These days, one day without a new addition to Arizona footballs 2017 recruiting class can be considered a drought.
Wednesday, the Wildcats added safety Scott Young to the fray.
Two days later, Arizona added another safety — three-star Xavier Bell from Mater Dei in Santa Ana, California. Bell is the 17th commitment to Arizona's 2017 class and the eighth in the last two weeks for the Wildcats.
In a Twitter message, Bell said "after talking it over with my family I have decided to further my education and my football career at the University of Arizona."

Bell's only other offer was from Nevada, but the 6-foot-2, 190-pound safety also was receiving interest from a number of schools, including Arizona State and Oregon State.
Scout.com rates Bell the No. 10 safety in California and No. 17 in the West.
