Former Arizona Wildcats running back Orlando Bradford struck his girlfriend multiple times Monday and Tuesday, pulled her hair and dragged her before he was reported to police, according to Tucson Police Department reports obtained Thursday.

Bradford, 20, has been charged with seven felony counts of domestic violence. He remains in Pima County Jail as he awaits trial. A judge set Bradfordโ€™s bond at $20,000 during a hearing Wednesday night.

The victim, a fellow UA student, told police that Bradford first struck her Monday night after they argued over a scratch on his car, the report stated.

Bradford ordered the victim into his room, according to reports, but she refused. Bradford grabbed the victim by her hair, according to reports, and started pulling her up the stairs. The victim eventually entered his room, where Bradford struck her several times, the report stated. The victim told police that she spent the night because she did not want to anger him further. Bradford drove the victim home Tuesday morning, the report stated.

Bradford struck the victim again Tuesday night, according to reports, after they fought over a Frosty he brought her. She said she did not want to eat the Frosty because she was cold, and Bradford became angry. Bradfordโ€™s roommate told her she should have some, since Bradford had purchased it for her. She then ate a few bites, according to the report.

Bradford became angry that she would listen to his roommate and not him, documents say. The victim left the house to get a ride home, but returned for her phone. Bradford initially refused to let her in his room and assaulted her when she made it inside, states the report.

The victim told police that she spent the night and called her mother the next morning, reporting that she had been hit. The victimโ€™s mother called the police. An officer met with the victim, and noticed a scratch and red mark on her forehead. The victim told police that she and Bradford have been romantically involved since January or February.

Bradford, a sophomore from Shreveport, Louisiana, was arrested Wednesday afternoon and dismissed from the team shortly after. He is scheduled to appear in court later this month.
