Recruiting: Arizona Wildcats host several 2019, 2020 prospects over the weekend
- Updated
Kevin Sumlin and Co. hosted several recruits over the weekend.
Spring practice is also time for recruiting
UpdatedBy Justin Spears / Arizona Daily Star
While Arizona wrapped up its first official week of the Kevin Sumlin era with the start of spring football practice, the Wildcats also hosted numerous recruits from the 2019 and 2020 class over the weekend.
What a better time to show recruits the UA campus and athletic facilities than a weekend that included the weather reaching up to 89 degrees and the university announcing its renovations plan for Arizona Stadium and the indoor practice center?
While Sumlin and Co. didn't have much time to focus on recruiting for 2018, they'll have plenty of time to focus on the future and improve Arizona's reputation on the recruiting trail. The previous four recruiting classes didn't finish higher than ninth in the Pac-12, per 247 Sports' composite rankings.
Here's a look at the handful of known recruits that were in Tucson over the weekend.
