LOS ANGELES β€” During Arizona's Los Angeles road trip, the Wildcats picked up a two-fer on verbal commitments from the Southern California area on Friday.Β 

Rancho Cucamonga High School stars in three-star defensive back Rahim Wright II and linebacker Stacy Bey committed to the Wildcats' 2024 recruiting class Friday evening, they both announced on their social media accounts.

Wright and Bey were previously committed to San Diego State, but re-opened their recruitment on Wednesday after visiting the UA last week during the Wildcats' 31-24 loss to No. 7 Washington. The 6-foot, 175-pound Wright, who's also a standout long-jumper, also held offers from Colorado, SDSU, Idaho and Nevada, among others. In six games this season for Rancho Cucamonga, Wright leads the Cougars in tackles (58). In four games, the 6-1, 200-pound Bey is fourth with 33 tackles. Bey selected the Wildcats over SDSU, Florida State, Louisville, Washington and Washington State, among others.Β 

The Wildcats now have 22 commits for '24. Arizona's upcoming recruiting class currently ranks 34th nationally, according to 247Sports.com, which ranks third in the Big 12.
