Kevin Sumlin and the Arizona Wildcats landed their first wide receiver commit of the 2019 class on Friday as three-star Jalen Johnson verbally pledged to play at UA.
The 6-foot-3, 170-pound Johnson is about to enter his senior year at Eleanor Roosevelt High in Corona, California. He is listed as the No. 147 wide receiver in his class, per 247Sports' national composite ratings.
Johnson selected the Wildcats over Utah, Oregon State, New Mexico and Colorado State. Johnson announced his commitment via Twitter.

Johnson becomes Arizona's second California commit of the 2019 class, joining outside linebacker Kwabena Watson from Fresno.
