Watch: 7 things Arizona Wildcats said after falling to USC
Khalil Tate showed his frustrations Saturday night after the Wildcats fell to USC.
Brutal outing against the Trojans
UpdatedThe Wildcats knew it wasn't going to be easy to beat the USC Trojans, but Saturday's 24-20 loss was harsh.
Arizona was in position to pull off a miraculous comeback after trimming USC's 24-0 third-quarter lead down to a touchdown deficit late in the fourth quarter, but a missed field goal in the first and a failed point-after in the fourth thwarted the effort.
USC committed 18 penalties for 169 yards, while Arizona quarterback Khalil Tate, still battling an ankle injury, went 16-of-33 passing for 232 yards and two touchdowns. The Wildcats finished with 98 rushing yards to USC's 253 yards.
Tate, linebacker Colin Schooler, wide receiver Tony Ellison, safety Demetrius Flannigan-Fowles and UA head coach Kevin Sumlin spoke to the media following the game.
