The No. 16-seeded University of Arizona club hockey team opened the ACHA National Tournament with a 4-1 win over No. 17 Missouri State on Thursday night in Columbus, Ohio.
Josh Larson, Anthony Cusanelli, Jake Dickison and Orion Olsen all scored for the Wildcats, who play No. 1 Minot State at 6 p.m. Friday.
"This is such an emotional win, to see the boys battle through such a tough game and come through the other side as victors," UA coach Chad Berman said. "Now we have to up our game tomorrow night."
