Five-star guard Jaden Bradley picks Alabama over Arizona

Five-star class of 2022 guard Jaden Bradley picked Alabama over Arizona and several other choices, he announced on Instagram on Thursday.

"Alabama just seemed like the place for me," Bradley told ESPN's Paul Biancardi on Instagram live. "Their style of play is good and it's a family atmosphere.

"It was definitely tough having to pick one school. It's crazy. I'm extremely blessed, though."

A 6-3 guard from Rochester, New York, who is now playing for Florida's IMG Academy, Bradley was one of the Wildcats' top U.S.-based targets in the high school class of 2022. He took the first official visit to Tucson in June of any UA recruit since Bennedict Mathurin and Ziaire Williams toured campus in November 2019.

Bradley’s father, Nate, said via text message in June that UA coach Tommy Lloyd had been recruiting Jaden for Gonzaga for seven or eight months before he took over the Wildcats in April, and UA assistant coach Steve Robinson also had a connection to Bradley from his days at UNC.

Bradley took spring and summer visits to Michigan, Alabama and North Carolina. While Arizona and North Carolina were considered leaders until Thursday, according to 247's Crystal Ball, Alabama emerged as a leader earlier this week.

Arizona is known to have offered scholarships to only four U.S.-based class of 2022 players: Bradley, Dylan Anderson, Shaedon Sharpe and Collin Chandler. Anderson committed to the Wildcats in April, while Sharpe picked Kentucky and Chandler remains undecided (but also may take an LDS mission before college).
