Arizona confirmed Friday that its annual Red-Blue Game will be held on Friday, Oct. 20.

Tickets will go sale July 22 at 10 a.m. via Arizona's website and tickets will be reserved as they were last season. Prices range fromΒ $7-15.

Since the annual preseason scrimmage, celebration and recruiting event is not on the season ticket package, it is a chance for all fans to buy good seats to see the debut of what could be the No. 1 preseason team.

Arizona included the Red-Blue Game on the official non conference schedule it released Friday (the PDF version of it is attached to this post).

ICYMI, we posted a look at the schedule and the final addition of Alabama on Thursday and in Friday's print edition. The Wildcats should have a tougher non conference schedule than last season (108, according to Kenpom.com), when they still managed to finish with an RPI of 5.

While UA has said the proliferation of multi-team events and neutral-site games has made it harder to attract top teams into McKale, the Wildcats could have a Top 25 opponent at McKale in Alabama and an underrated mid major in Cal State Bakersfield.

Overall on the non conference schedule, UA should have Top 100 opponents in Alabama, Cal State Bakersfield, Texas A&M and possibly New Mexico, UConn and North Dakota State. They are also likely to play at least two high-quality opponents in the Battle 4 Atlantis.

Arizona has aimed to play opponents in the top 150 RPI in order to improve NCAA Tournament seeding, though NAU is an exception because of its instate ties.

UCLA released its nonconference schedule, which opens with Georgia Tech in China. The Bruins will face Michigan, Kentucky and Cal State Bakersfield, among others.

One of five coaches to beat Arizona last season is taking over at Ohio State, and it's not Chris Mack but Chris Holtmann.
