Arizona alumnus Steve Kerr, head coach of the Golden State Warriors, acknowledges the Arizona fans prior to the Arizona vs. Xavier Sweet 16 game in the NCAA Tournament at SAP Center, March 23, 2017, in San Jose, Calif. Mike Christy / Arizona Daily Star

During his brief time with the NBA's Golden State Warriors, Steve Kerr has proven that he can coach.

Kerr won his 200th career game Tuesday night, setting a pace that few can ever hope to match. The story mentions Kerr's career highlights, and one fact that will stick with Wildcats fans: Kerr's mark includes the 39 games won by interim coach Luke Walton, another former UA star.Β
