Kansas City quarterback Patrick Mahomes and the AFC's top-seeded Chiefs will host the Jacksonville Jaguars on Saturday in the NFL Playoff's Divisional Round.

The countdown to kickoff has begun as NFL teams are in the midst of OTAs, preparing for the start of camp and the 2023 season.

While hopes are always high this time of year – coming off the NFL Draft and free agency – in the AFC it seems to be the same as it ever was at the top of the odds boards for which teams will vie for the conference championship.

The top three have been the same for a few years now, led by the defending Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs, who are consensus favorites to repeat as AFC champs and play in Super Bowl LVIII, according to the four major sportsbooks.

Led by 2022 league and Super Bowl LVII MVP quarterback Patrick Mahomes, the Chiefs are +350 odds at FanDuel, BetMGM and Caesars and +330 at DraftKings.

Right behind them are the Josh Allen-led Buffalo Bills and the Joe Burrow-led Cincinnati Bengals, who faced each other in the AFC Divisional Round last season, with the Bengals winning, 27-10.

The Bills are between +400 (BetMGM) and +500 (DraftKings) to win the AFC this year, while the Bengals are +500 at FanDuel, BetMGM and Caesars, and +550 at DraftKings.

It’s no wonder why all three teams are in the top three, pretty much head and shoulders above the rest of the AFC, as they’re led by the best quarterbacks in the league, as well as the best offenses.

Mahomes, Allen and Burrow are all tied at the top of the FanDuel odds board to win the Most Valuable Player award at +700.

Rounding out the top five in the AFC odds heading into the summer are the New York Jets and Baltimore Ravens, which are both +1000 to win the conference, according to FanDuel.

Talking about quarterback play, the Jets vaulted into the conversation immediately after acquiring Aaron Rodgers from the Green Bay Packers in offseason free agency. And once the Ravens locked in Lamar Jackson as the highest-paid player in NFL history, Baltimore has to be regarded as one of the scariest teams in football.

So as OTAs are in full swing and with mini camp on the horizon, FrontPageBets takes a look at the odds for each AFC team to win the conference title and play in Super Bowl LVIII.
