Last year's Masters champion, Jon Rahm, is expected back to defend his title after his recent move to LIV.

Every time Jon Rahm tees it up, the odds are ever in his favor.

In 10 PGA Tour starts this season, Rahm has won four times. In 23 world-wide starts, heโ€™s won seven times, including six of his last 13. That's nearly 50%.

His latest victory was the Masters this past Sunday at Augusta National. Itโ€™s the second major of Rahmโ€™s career and his first green jacket. The 26-year-old Spaniard also won the 2021 U.S. Open at Torrey Pines.

Rahmโ€™s four-shot victory over Brooks Koepka and Phil Mickelson put him back at No. 1 in the Official World Golf Rankings and the favorite heading into the next major โ€“ the PGA Championship, which will be played on the East Course at Oak Hill Country Club in Rochester, N.Y., from May 15-21.

Rahm is +750 to win the Wanamaker Trophy, according to FanDuel.

FrontPageBets takes a look at the odds-on favorites to win the 2023 PGA Championship next month.

This is the third time the PGA will be held at Oak Hill, and first since Jason Dufner won it in 2013. The East Course also hosted the 2019 Senior PGA Championship. Itโ€™s the only course that has hosted all six of the menโ€™s professional majors that move around.

Rahmโ€™s best finish at the PGA Championship was a tie for fourth in 2018 at Bellerive Golf Course.

Last yearโ€™s Masters champ and the No. 2 golfer in the world Scottie Scheffler is right behind Rahm in futures odds for the PGA Championship at +850.

This will be Schefflerโ€™s fourth appearance in the major, where he has two top-10 finishes, including T4 in 2020 at TPC Harding Park. Last year, Scheffler missed the cut at Southern Hills.

Rounding out the top three for this yearโ€™s PGA favorite is Rory McIlroy, who missed the cut last weekend at Augusta.

McIlroy, ranked third in the world, has won the PGA Championship twice โ€“ 2012 at Kiawah Island and 2014 at Valhalla. Heโ€™s currently +950 to win his third Wanamaker Trophy.

Last yearโ€™s winner Justin Thomas is +1700 to repeat.
