Arizona's offseason of change continues, just when it appeared there were no more jobs to fill.

Arizona will hire former Michigan staffer Chris Singletary as its new director of recruiting, and Matt Dudek — the director of on-campus recruiting and player personnel — will move into an as-yet-unnamed position. FootballScoop.com first reported the move Thursday.

An official announcement is expected next week.

Singletary spent nine years at Michigan, most of them as the team's recruiting coordinator, working under coaches Lloyd Carr, Rich Rodriguez, Brady Hoke and Jim Harbaugh. He left Michigan in May, after helping Harbaugh assemble his first recruiting class.

Singletary, a Michigan native, played three seasons (1996-98) with the Wolverines. He graduated in 1999 with a degree in sports management and communications, then went to work for International Management Group. He worked for IMG until 2007, when he returned to his alma mater.

Rodriguez, now the UA's head coach, retained Singetary after taking over for Carr. And Singletary was the only staffer retained by Hoke after Rodriguez was fired in 2010.

Dudek's job title will change, although it's unclear what exactly that will be. Dudek, who has been on Rodriguez's staff since 2012, will still be heavily involved in recruiting.

Singletary is the fifth new full-time staffer added this offseason. Rodriguez hired cornerbacks coach Donte' Williams from San Jose State and defensive coordinator Marcel Yates from Boise State, and promoted safeties coach Jahmile Addae and defensive line coach Vince Amey from off-field roles.
