SALT LAKE CITY — The Arizona Wildcats finally touched down in Salt Lake City in the wee hours of Saturday morning after the team's original flight was delayed on Friday ahead of the UA's Big 12 opener against 10th-ranked Utah.

The flight on Friday was delayed several hours at Tucson International Airport due to a mechanical issue, according to the UA. The team flew out late Friday night and landed in Salt Lake City early Saturday morning about 20 hours from kickoff.

Arizona (2-1) faces No. 10 Utah (4-0) in Salt Lake City on Saturday at 7:15 p.m. on ESPN.
