The stage for the postseason is set.

Plenty of Southern Arizona baseball and softball teams qualified for the state playoffs, which begin Friday for some.

Among the biggest takeaways was the Canyon del Oro, Ironwood Ridge and Sahuaro softball teams earning the top three spots in the Division II state tournament. Those three – along with No. 6 Salpointe Catholic and No. 8 Tucson – will host second-round games on Tuesday.

Here’s a complete breakdown of the local state qualifiers in baseball and softball, and who they face first:
