Top-seeded Sabino will open the Class 3A state baseball playoffs Friday night in Surprise, the first day of what should be a busy weekend for Southern Arizona's high school sports teams.
The Sabercats will face Yuma Catholic in Friday's first round, with a state quarterfinal matchup awaiting them Saturday if they win. Sabino would face the winner of Catalina-Safford at 1 p.m. at the Surprise Sports Complex. The full list of this weekend's baseball and softball games are below:
