Horse racing returned this weekend for another season at the historic Rillito Race Track, 4502 N. First Ave. Races will continues for eight weeks with Quarter Horse and Thoroughbred racing until March 30. General parking is free and valet parking is $5. Children under 12 get in free in the grandstand and the clubhouse. Admission is $5 for the grandstand and $8 for the clubhouse. The gates open at 11 a.m., and post time is 1 p.m. for the first race. The facility will remain open on race nights until 8 pm. There is a full restaurant and bar in the clubhouse plus snacks and beverages on both levels of the grandstand. For information call 293-5011.
