The Tucson Roadrunners scored three times in the first 14 minutes Saturday night and went on to beat host Iowa 4-1 in Des Moines in an American Hockey League game.

The first-place Roadrunners (18-5-0-0) got goals from Kyle Capobianco, Jon Martin and Brayden Burke in the first period to quickly go up 3-0 over the Wild. Martin added a goal in the second period to make it 4-0.

The teams meet again at 6 p.m. Tuesday at Iowa. Tucson's next home game is Dec. 20 against Ontario.
