Back in early October, Arizona discontinued its pre-game tradition of the Haka dance after a petition signed by some native New Zealanders demanded it be discontinued for what they deemed was an “offensive” interpretation.

Saturday, the Wildcats huddled up before the game and performed a modest re-imagining of the dance.

Let’s hope the un-needed hubbub doesn’t return this time around.
