The UA Book Store is planning the purr-fect party for Fancy Nancy fans.
Brush off those boas, tiaras, suits and ties and get dressed up to celebrate the new book "Fancy Nancy: Oodles of Kittens" on March 11 at the Tucson Festival of Books.
Illustrator of the beloved book series, Robin Preiss Glasser will be there to meet the kids, sign books and give a presentation.
"We are so excited to have Robin Preiss Glasser as our guest of honor at the event to share with children a bit about what it means to be an illustrator and her creative process in a way that is relatable and engaging for children," said Veronica Cruz-Mercado, UA BookStores program coordinator. "Fancy Nancy author, Jane O’Connor, joined us for a similar event two years ago and children were so excited to dress up just like their favorite character, and parents were so thrilled to have quality time with their children at an event that celebrates a joy and love of books and reading."
You'll need to get a ticket in advance of the event. Get yours here. Admission includes crafts, a photo station, light continental breakfast and a signed copy of the book.
