Budding scientists are gonna love what the Children's Museum Tucson has in store for them this weekend.
We're talking Family Sci-Fest, an annual event to show kids that science is everywhere.
More than 30 exhibitors will be there with demonstrations ranging from LEGO engineering to balloon rockets and infrared cameras.
Exhibitors include World View, Western National Parks Association, UA's Science City, OSIRIS-RExproject, Planetary Science Institute, Ironwood Tree Experience, TEP, PSA Art Awakenings, American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics, Arizona SciTech and many more.
Also, your kids won't want to miss an appearance by Sid the Science Kid and the 501st Rebel Legion.
You can get food from one of three food trucks — Hellfire Pizza, Purple Tree Acai and Fire Engine Dogs.
Last year's event drew more than 3,000 visitors, so have a parking plan. You can take the streetcar or park for free on one of the downtown streets.
