Dragoon's Five-Year Anniversary

This is probably the biggest beer party of the year. Ride to Dragoon with your friends at Transit Cycles, eat one of the many food options, buy some merch, listen to some music and DRINK SOME BEER. All the beer.

MOVIE FUN

Sci-Fi Slumber Party

Do you love "The Matrix"? What about "Robocop"?

The Loft is playing those films and more during the 24-hour sci-fi movie event. Watch the movies, join in the activities and win some prizes.

MUSEUM FUN

Frida al Fresco

Do you love Frida Kahlo? Dress up like her. While you're there, enjoy the farmer's market, the snacks and the activities.

Where: Tucson Botanical Gardens, 2150 N. Alvernon Way.

Cost: Admission is $13 for adults, $12 for students/seniors/military, $7.50 for children between 4-17, and free for members and children 3 and under.

Family Day at the UA Museum of Art

Your children will get to enjoy a bunch of hands-on activities (scavenger hunt!), there will be face painting and story time and lots of other sciencey stuff.

Cost: Children are free and adults pay admission. General admission is $8 and $6.50 for senior (65+).

Family Day at the UA Poetry Center

Go from the Museum of Art to the Poetry Center, your kids (13 and under) can participate in the free writing workshops and activities.

Fairy Garden Workshop

Build a garden for the fairies in your home. Buy all the supplies there or bring some from home to make the best fairy garden.

"The Wonderful Things You Will Be" Storytime

Chess Fest

It's all about chess this weekend. Beginners can learn chess while pros play with human-sized pieces. There will be more activities, music and a face-painting station.
