TUCSON

Fireworks on "A" Mountain 

Bring your lawn chairs and enjoy the firework show at the 21st Annual "A" Mountain Fireworks Celebration. There will be food vendors selling hot dogs, hamburgers and Mexican food, entertainment and a nighttime spectacular.

There are also so many deals going on downtown on the Fourth, so you can spend the whole day there.

When: Tuesday, July 4, opens at 7 p.m. and fireworks at 9:15 p.m.

Where: Watch them for free from parking lot B and C at the Tucson Convention Center, 260 S. Church Ave. TCC has a great parking lot map, check it out here.

Cost: Event is free and open to the public.

Pro tip: Leave your car near the streetcar route, away from the TCC. Take the streetcar to the TCC and park your lawn chair there. The line of cars is real after the fireworks and you don't want to get stuck in it.

Summer Spa Soiree at Starr Pass

This one's just for adults (21+ only) and rightly so. The Hashani Spa at JW Marriott Starr Pass Resort is hosting an evening party with fireworks, sangria, hors d’oeuvres and desserts, live music, mini spa treatments and a raffle.

When: Tuesday, July 4, 5-9 p.m., fireworks at approx. 8:15 p.m.

Where: JW Marriott Tucson Starr Pass Resort & Spa, 3800 W. Starr Pass Blvd.

Cost: $50 for soiree only and $75 for all day Spa access.

Second Annual Diamonds in the Sky Celebration

It all starts with a Tucson Saguaros game against the Monterey Amberjacks at 6 p.m. followed by a fireworks show. There will be games, prizes, $1 hot dogs, beer and plenty of activities for the kids from 5 to 9 p.m.

Get your general admission tickets are the Kino Administrative Offices at 2500 E. Ajo Way or the Guest Services window inside the stadium.

When: Tuesday, July 4, Gates open at 5 p.m. and the game starts at 6 p.m.

Where: Kino Sports Complex, 2500 E. Ajo Way

Cost: General Admission is $4 and children 5 and under get in for free. General admission seating is first come, first served. You can also purchase reserved seating ($11-15) here, while supplies last.

Outdoor Screening of "Jaws" at The Loft Cinema 

Watch "Jaws" from the comfort of Loft's parking lot. 

When: Tuesday, July 4, screening starts at 7:30 p.m.

Where: The Loft Cinema, 3233 E. Speedway Blvd.

Cost: General admission is $8 and $6 for Loft members.

ORO VALLEY

Swimming at the Oro Valley Aquatic Center

Stay cool on the Fourth of July with a splash pad and waterslide at a discounted price. There will be games and prizes for the children.

When: Tuesday, July 4, noon to 4 p.m.

Where: Oro Valley Aquatic Center, 23 W. Calle Concordia

Cost: $1 for children and $3 for adults.

Stars and Stripes BBQ Dinner

It's an "all-American" dinner with pulled pork, BBQ chicken, coleslaw, potato salad, ice cream sundae bar and more. Don't forget your lawn chairs and blankets to watch the fireworks at 9 p.m.

When: Tuesday, July 4, 6-9 p.m.

Where: Overlook Restaurant at Oro Valley Community Center, 10555 N. La Cañada Drive

Cost: $25 for adults, $12 for children 5-12 and free for children under 5 years.

Oro Valley July 4th Celebration

Your kids and your wallet are going to love this. There are plenty of activities for children, like face painting, tie-dye t-shirt making, jumping castles and more. If you get hungry, buy from any of the several food trucks they're going to have there. And it all starts as the sun is setting so you don't have to worry about getting super dehydrated (drink water though).

When: Tuesday, July 4, festivities start at 5 p.m. and fireworks go off at 9 p.m.

Where: Naranja Park, 810 W. Naranja Dr.

Cost: Event is free and open to the public.

MARANA

Red, White and Brew BBQ

Before fireworks light up the sky, enjoy Dove Mountain's Red, White and Brew Barbecue buffet, which features grilled chicken, steak, burgers, nacho bars, fresh fruit, milkshakes, firecracker cupcakes and more. There will be live music during dinner and then a firework show at 8 p.m.

Reservations are required.

When: Tuesday, July 4, 6-8 p.m.

Where: The Ritz-Carlton, Dove Mountain, 15000 N. Secret Springs Dr.

Star Spangled Spectacular

The Star Spangled Spectacular is a can't-miss. There will be live music, activities for the kids, two beer gardens for the parents, dozens of food trucks and nonfood vendors and a fireworks show to end the evening. Oh, and there's a free cornhole tournament.

Red, White and Boom

Live music, food trucks, face painters, a boat-building contest and fireworks at 9 p.m. Whatever Floats Your Boat is a competition where participants bring their homemade boat or raft and race it on the lake. Does your boat have what it takes?

When: Tuesday, July 4, 6-10 p.m.

Old Fashioned Fourth of July

There won't be fireworks but there will be games, summer food and a fire engine "squirt down."
