Dante Lauretta, principal investigator of theΒ OSIRIS-REx mission, made a list of margarita recipes for you to try during tomorrow's launch and they're totally awesome.Β 

How does this guy have time to make alcoholic drink recipes and prepare to launch something into space? We just hope he's drinking one of these during the launch β€” because the man deserves it.

He listed margaritas like a jasmine tea-arita, a vanilla margarita (?) and the three listed below.Β

Coconut Ginger Margarita

- 1 oz. fresh lime juice

-Β 1 oz. Corzo Silver Tequila

-Β 1 oz. Ke Ke Beach Key Lime Cream Liqueur

-Β 1 oz. Drillaud Coconut Liqueur

-Β 1 oz. Domaine Canton Ginger Liqueur

-Β Top off with Q Ginger Beer (~2 oz.)

-Β Garnish with fresh ginger slice

Sangria-rita (Red and White versions)

-Β 1 oz. fresh lime juice

-Β 1 tsp granulated sugar

Note: Heat lime juice and sugar prior to fully dissolve sugarΒ 

-Β 2 oz Don Julio Anejo Tequila

-Β 2 oz. Sweet Italian Red Wine (or white)

-Β 1 oz. Pure Red Grape Juice (or white)

-Β Garnish with citrus blend – orange, lemon, lime slices

Note: For best results mix wine, grape juice, citrus, other fruit and let sit overnightΒ 

Cherry Margarita

-Β 1 oz. fresh lime juice

-Β 1 tsp granulated sugar

Note: Heat lime juice and sugar prior to fully dissolve sugar

-Β 2 oz. 1800 Silver Tequila

-Β 1 oz. Edel Kirsch Cherry Liqueur

-Β 1Β½ Β oz. Pure Black Cherry Juice

-Β 1/2 oz. Grenadine

-Β Garnish with Maraschino cherry
