A motorcyclist was killed Wednesday in a crash on Tucson's southeast side, police said.
David Kennett, 25, was on a silver 2008 Kawasaki motorcycle headed north on South Craycroft Road about 10 a.m. when he collided with a red 2013 Dodge Caravan that was turning south from East 29th Street, police said.
The driver of the van started to turn when the light cycled from green to red and the motorcyclist struck the van's front passenger side, police said.
Kennett was thrown from the motorcycle. He died at the scene.
Police say neither speed nor impairment appears to be a factor in the crash.
