TucsonanΒ AbdiΒ Abdirahman, a four-time USA Olympic distance-runner, just completed his training season in Flagstaff. He told me last week that he will attempt to qualify for the 2016 U.S. Olympic team in the 10,000 meters; he would be 39. His training partner, TucsonanΒ Bernard Lagat, also a four-time Olympian, who will be 40 in December, also has committed to train for the 5,000 meters for two more years.
