Tucsonan Abdirahman to miss Olympic Marathon trialsย
Tucsonanย Abdi Abdirahman, a four-time Olympic distance runner, will not be able to compete in next weekโs U.S. Olympic Marathon trials in Los Angeles. Abdirahman, a Pima College and UA grad, has a calf injury. At 39, he now plans to run the 10,000 meters at Juneโs Olympic Track and Field Trials. He was a U.S. 10,000-meter Olympian in 2000 and 2004.ย
