Tucsonan Lagat attempting to make one last Olympic teamΒ
Abdirahman’s frequent training partner, Tucsonan Bernard Lagat, announced last week that he will attempt to make his fifth Olympic team, at 5,000 meters, in June. He is 41. “I would have retired at the end of the 2015 season, but something inside was telling me, ‘Why retire one year before the Olympics? You can still do this,’” he told Flotrack.com.
