The All Souls Procession — started by Tucson artist Susan Johnson in 1990 as a way to cope with the death of her father — has evolved into a large procession of thousands of people. It’s organized by Many Mouths One Stomach, a non-profit arts collective. This was the first year the procession has not been in downtown Tucson. It was moved west of the Santa Cruz River and ultimately to the finale site at Congress west of I-10. The Tucson Symphony Orchestra was the featured performance.
