Santa Claus, played by Tim Crandell, stopped by the Arizona Daily Star studio to enjoy some saguaro sugar cookies on Dec. 12, 2019.

If I have this right, Santa is currently making a list and checking it twice. We'll soon find out who was naughty or nice.

Why? Because Santa Claus is comin' to town, of course.

And even sooner, kiddos in Tucson will have the chance to get a personal phone call from the jolly man himself.

Courtesy Tucson Parks and Recreation, you can sign up your kids, as long as they're ages 4-8 years old, to chat with Santa and listen to his elves who will surely be hard at work.

To sign up, fill out this form by Sunday, Dec. 8. The form is available in both English and Spanish. If you have multiple children who want to chat with Santa during the same call, add each child to the one form.

The form will ask about your kids' best friends and items on their wish list this year. You can also ask Santa to give your kiddo a polite reminder during the phone call (i.e. remember to brush your teeth before bedtime!).

Santa will then give you a ring sometime next week, Dec. 10-12 from 5:30-8 p.m. Don't fret, though: if you can't be reached at that time, your kiddo will receive a letter from Santa instead.
