TucsonanΒ George Cunningham, a freshman at Arizona, tied for first place (he lost in a playoff) at the prestigious Patriot All-American Golf Classic played at the Phoenix Wigwam Golf Course Dec. 29-31. Cunningham, a freshman, shot rounds of 74-69-66 (or 6-under par) in the nation’s top amateur golf event of the month.Β
