UA's Goodacre snubbed

UA senior catcher Chelsea Goodacre led the NCAA with 86 RBIs this season, while belting 24 home runs and hitting .335. What makes it more impressive is that she hit .405 in Pac-12 games. She didn’t pad her statistics against nonconference pushovers. Yet the NFCA All-America team released last week put two catchers from the lowbrow Sun Belt Conference — Lexie Elkins of Louisiana-Lafayette and Ivie Drake of Georgia State — ahead of Goodacre, who was named a second-team “at-large” catcher.
