Boy on bicycle hit by car

A 12-year-old boy riding a bicycle was struck by a vehicle in Marana Wednesday afternoon.The boy was not wearing a helmet and suffered serious injuries, said Capt. Adam Goldberg, a Northwest Fire District spokesman. Paramedics treated the boy and transported him to Banner-University Medical Center Tucson, Goldberg said.
