Arizona vs. UCLA

While the UA's chemistry might be disrupted if anybody gripes about fewer minutes and fewer shots, Miller says Trier brings a more mature outlook and game that could benefit his teammates.

Miller pointed to Trier’s drive-and-dish to Lauri Markkanen for a 3-pointer in the first half at UCLA — a moment when a more self-absorbed player might have tried to drive through traffic all the way to the basket for a layup or dunk.

“That’s the one thing as you start to watch Allonzo — and it was frustrating for us because we watched Allonzo every day (during his suspension) — he’s a much improved player from a year ago,” Miller said. “It’s night and day. He passes the ball better. He understands the team dynamics a lot better.”
