Comment: Fire Mark Helfrich? No way! First of all, in an ESPN.com poll, Helfrich said his favorite band is Daft Punk, which was possibly the least predictable and least lame answer on the list. (Actually, a few coaches, including Stanford’s David Shaw, declined to answer. That’s even lamer.) Second, Oregon finally appears to have found a young quarterback around whom it can build in freshman Justin Herbert. Third, Helfrich went 33-9 in his first three seasons, including an appearance in the national-championship game LESS THAN TWO YEARS AGO. Fire Helfrich? No way.
