These shoes aren't too far a cry from some we see in stores today except for one big difference. One of these shoes is advertised as "Washable Kid." As in leather — really soft leather. We rarely find that in a price range for the middle class these days unless we're very lucky. The ad ran in the Arizona Daily Star March 6, 1936.
