During the 1988-89 season, Steve Kerr set the NCAA record for best three-point field goal percentage in a season with a minimum of 100 attempts.

Kerr drained 57.3 percent of his three-pointers, making 114 out of 199 attempted.

In the same season he also set the NCAA record for most consecutive games making a three-pointer. He hit a three in 38 straight games.Β
