McConnell didn't just finish in the top-tier of the NBA's assists leaders. He also finished toward the top of the steals leaders, ranking No. 10 in the NBA.

McConnell averaged 1.7 steals per game this year. He was one of just six players who finished in the NBA's top 12 in both assists and steals — and it's one heck of a list: Russell Westbrook, Steph Curry, Chris Paul, John Wall, Draymond Green and Ricky Rubio.

The names ahead of McConnell on the steals list are also some of the league's best:

1. Draymond Green

2. John Wall

3. Chris Paul

4. Robert Covington

5. Jimmy Butler

6. Trevor Ariza

T7. Steph Curry

T7. Kawhi Leonard

9. Ricky Rubio

10. T.J. McConnell
