Future plans

Jacob Hazzard became Arizona’s token favorite walk-on this season, posting a career-high nine points on Senior Day.

Now, it’s all over for him at Arizona. After Thursday’s loss, he said he’s not sure quite yet what the future holds.

“I don’t even really know,” Hazzard said. “I might get into coaching or something. I just know so much basketball it just seems foolish to get away from it. It hasn’t hit me yet what I have to do yet.”

Hazzard’s favorite moment?

The Elite Eights, a Sweet 16 and this season were all great. But the Senior Day showing against Stanford game will always stick out.

“Doing that with my parents there and my grandma there on senior night, my brothers are there. I can’t describe that,” Hazzard said. “I’m very blessed.”

Hazzard finished his Arizona career with 40 points.
