Maria Fletcher has been named chief financial officer for BannerβUniversity Medical Center Tucson and BannerβUniversity Medical Center South. Fletcher has been with the organization for more than 20 years in key roles such as controller, internal consultant and associate vice president for the network revenue cycle. She is a certified public accountant with many years auditing health-care organizations and holds a bachelorβs degree in accounting and finance from the University of Arizona.
Four longtime University of Arizona Health Network employees have been promoted to leadership positions within BannerβUniversity Medicine, the academic arm of Banner Health. Nonprofit Banner Health acquired the UA Health Network in March.
