We created this cute Tucson-themed gift box with Di Luna candles

You may be feeling all the festive, jolly feelings of the season, but then an unsettling realization sets in: I have so much shopping to do.

If your holiday shopping list is long, it can be overwhelming to find gifts for all the special people in your life.

This year, instead of buying something on Amazon that's a dime a dozen, consider something unique from a local shop.

According to Local First Arizona, for every $100 spent at a locally owned business, $43 remains in the local economy.

“In comparison, for every $100 spent at a non-locally owned business, just $13 remains in the local economy,” its website says.

In that spirit, #ThisIsTucson, the Arizona Daily Star's sister website, has teamed up with Di Luna Candles again this year and crafted a Tucson-themed gift box. 

We focused on items made locally and those that invoke the sights and smells of our beloved desert.
