Why he won: The sharpshooter from Finland finished his freshman season with 576 total points, tied for the second-most in UA history by a first-year player. He was the only Pac-12 player to finish in the conference's top 12 in scoring, rebounding, free-throw percentage and 3-point percentage. He averaged 15.6 points and 7.2 rebounds per game while shooting 49.2 percent from the field.
