Rob Jensen, left, throws a "punch" at Lincoln Leavere while the two fight in the first reenactment of the day for Dillinger Days.

John Dillinger was only in Tucson a short time before he was arrested, and he wasn't anywhere near Hotel Congress when it happened.

But that hasn't stopped the historic venue from hosting Dillinger Days downtown, a look back at the capture of one of the country's most notorious criminals.

The fun will begin with a speakeasy at 7 p.m. on Friday, followed by a day's worth of family-friendly events, including reenactments outside Hotel Congress at 311 E. Congress Street.

Visit the hotel's website for more information.
